Tour Includes:
Round Trip Ferry Passage for 2 adult passengers and normal size vehicle (additional passengers extra)
- Day 1 : Arrive in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia via either of the ferries from Maine. Drive the south shore "Lighthouse Route", visiting quaint fishing villages and historic towns. Overnight in Lunenburg/Mahone Bay.
- Day 2 : Continue along the shore towards Halifax, stopping in Peggy's Cove to view the Lighthouse Post Office and shop the many handycrafts. Overnight in Halifax.
- Day 3 : Take a guided tour of one of Canada's oldest cities by bus, boat or both ! Sightsee, shop and sample the wonderful cuisine. Overnight in Halifax.
- Day 4 : Head from Halifax on the Trans Canada highway to Cape Breton Island. This is a day of travel on Nova Scotia's highways with a few stops on the way to the beginning of the unforgettable Cabot Trail. Overnight in Baddeck.
- Day 5 - No need to unpack, today you loop around on the drive of a lifetime. Cape Breton's Cabot Trail is world renown for its beauty and culture. Take in the awe inspiring views, stop in for a traditional Celtic music "Kitchen Party" and dine on the local fare. Overnight back in Baddeck.
- Day 6 : You say goodbye to Cape Breton on your way back to the ferry in Yarmouth. Your route is flexible, depending on what you would like to see. You will stop for the night, somewhere in Nova Scotia, halfway along your route and head home the next day. Overnight along the way.
- Day 7 : The ferry back to Portland or Bar Harbor, Maine departs at 4 PM. You will have time to enjoy the final day of your vacation package in Nova Scotia before heading home.
